Mountain bikes are bicycles designed for more or less unpaved/uneven terrain. They have more compact geometries and a less upright driving position. The wheels have knobby covers; the gearbox has short ratios to tackle even the toughest climbs. These bikes have suspension and hydraulic disc brakes.
